  15. I recently bought a USR Sportster Vi 28.8 with Plug and Play (model No. 282).  
  16. And, as some of you can identify with, I've been having some problems.  First, let me 
  17. say that it performs excellently in Netscape when I have autoload images turned off.  In 
  18. other words, it "screams" when just plain text is involved.  It's another story when I 
  19. try to access a page with pictures/graphics on it.  It doesn't even display anything.
  20.     Also, when I try to transfer a compressed file (by FTP or through the WEB), it 
  21. goes (at an alarmingly slow rate) for about five seconds and then it totally stops.
